Crazy Times

Whew. Boy it seems like I have been gone forever. I think that everyone has been in that place. You feel like you’re in a sewer and you’re shoveling as fast as you can, but the level of shit keeps rising. Sometimes there feels like there is no end to the work. As a manager it is a really weird place to be. You see your team working so hard, and all you can do is facilitate and encourage. You have no control over the success or failure because you are dependent upon the skill and drive of your team. All you can do is provide guidance, pressure and direction. The heavy lifting always belongs to the team.

Personally I always have a hard time taking credit for a success. I can’t do it alone. There is no way. I’m a part of it, but the team is key. I am nothing without my team. My team is a huge success. Every day I am thankful for their dedication.
