I just finished reading the book Social Intelligence: The New Science of Success by Karl Albrecht.
This is a fine book that really expands the Social Intelligence facet of Gardner’s concept of multiple intelligence. Having a high IQ is not a sure path to success. There are a number of other types of intelligence, like Emotional Intelligence (self awareness and control) and Social Intelligence (the ability to deal with people) that are also very important in today’s world.
